28/01 – Place: Millenium Wire Works - Neutron Rd.
Attempted theft: The security noticed the electricity main box door was open and found one man and a woman busy stripping the copper wires. The Police was contacted and the two suspects were arrested.
GBS SECURITY

Alarms: Eleven alarms were activated. Premises were checked and all was found in order.

Insecure premises: Two. One gate and three windows were left open.

Trolleys: Two trolleys were confiscated.

Suspicious persons checked: 27

The statistics pertaining to Stikland II have also been included for comparison purposes in respect of an area that does not have a CID compared to an area with a CID. The statistics were obtained from the SA Police services. These statistics will be used as a base line to measure future performances.
